Because of health issues, reflecting back over the past year this time is a very different experience for me. I came dangerouly close to not getting the chance to experience 2007. And, trust me, the knowledge changes the way you look at the world and your place in it.
I will never take anything for granted again. Suddenly I see the small things as well the large and know them for the miracles they are…I find myself looking around with awe at the gifts of life I have taken so for granted.
Friends and family are more dear than ever…love more appreciated…faith more comforting.
