This has been a dreadful day. We awoke to a strange gold red glow.. During the night an arsonist started a fire 20 miles from us in the Twin Pines area. And that cowardly act has already caused four firefighters their lives and and another one fights to stay alive.
I’ve never seen such thick smoke…even in midday it turned the sky as dark as twilight. It matches our sorrow and a fine gray ash drifts down like tears…
