A major winter storm visited us today so we decided to take a little drive up into the foothills. From the time I stopped to snap a few pictures the pace of the snow had picked up from softly drifting to near blizzard.
Three people stopped their cars, as I struggled back to where Rick was impatiently waiting in our car, to ask if I needed assistance and to warn me that we’d better head ‘down the hill’ while we had a chance of making it without chains. Not that I wasn’t trying to do that…it was just people kept stopping me to talk! (grin)
Nice to know there are caring people in this world.
