It took a trip into Alamosa…But I think we finally got our printer problem taken care of. It has a tendency to stop printing if it’s graphics loaded. This tech seemed knowledgeable. Usually they just scratch their heads, look askance, and say “Well I just don’t know WHAT could be wrong.” This guy just went to work…fixed one problem but didn’t have the time to complete the job. Another trip to the ‘big’ city should fix that. It’s an odd feeling to be so far from everything…120 mile round trip to go to a Safeway store.
We played pool in the clubhouse tonight. It is a bit humiliating to be coached by a 12 year old! He no doubt thought if he didn’t give me a hand I’d never be able to finish the game…and no doubt he was right! (grin)

Pancake breakfast at the clubhouse this morning. Who knew pancakes and sausage and cold orange juice could taste so delicious on a crisp cool morning!
There is a fire in Mesa Verde National Park right now and they are evacuating that park. I read that the Creede Volunteer Fire Dept. has put out two lightning strike fires in the last couple of days. The countryside is tinder dry. It looks green but looks are deceiving.
