Today was Arches National Park day!
These youngsters are shouting…”Look at the Big rocks mommy”!
This area is called Park Ave. The geology in the whole area is quite awesome.
There are a number of ‘Arches’ in the park but most are a hike of some distance. We went to those we ‘could’. There are signs all over cautioning you that the hikes are strenuous and to carry drinking water with you at all times. I’ve found that I can manage to get places that are fairly difficult as long as I drink water often. So we ‘don’t leave home without it’!
Here Rick is showing me the way to the top. Like I couldn’t see the durn thing. (Grin). We had this arch all to ourselves!
