Coshocton, Ohio

This is my hometown. We’re staying at Lake Park where my mom had a little cabin on the lake. My dad used to court her there. They held dances at the Pavilion by the water and they danced to the tunes of Rudy Valle when he came to town. It’s still sits there by the water…not much changes here.

My father was one of the early pilots in Ohio. His idea of impressing mom was to take his biplane and ‘buzz’ the lake. He’d get so close to the water, people would be jumping overboard from their row boats. At least he did it until someone figured out ‘who’ it was! BIG trouble ensued and he, ahem, didn’t do that anymore! (grin)
