Not so placid as you might think!

These beasts might look as placid as cows grazing in a pasture…not so. They are quick and powerful and grumpy. A ranger told us that a man had walked up to one of the bison, several years ago, and put his little grand daughter between his horns for a picture. The animal chased and gored the man to death. It pays to remember when you are taking pictures of wildlife that it’s their home and space you are trespassing on!
