Crater Lake had the first snowfall of the season a few days before we arrived in October. The far side road of the lake was still impassable. The white patches of snow seemed to increase the ‘blue’ of this magnificent place, if that’s possible.
The sides of the lake are so steep! I didn’t remember that…it’s no ‘stroll’ down to the water’s edge. More like ‘where’s my parachute’!
