Rick’s mom was such a sweet lady….no doubt one of the reasons Rick is such a dear man.

We met up with Steve, our oldest, today at Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlor for a ‘pre’ Mother’s Day hug! Nothing like a sinful ice cream sundae while sharing laughter and hugs ……It’s what matters most in life.

Most Hummingbird mothers don’t seem to be bothered by how close you get but this mama is very shy so I grab a few shots and back off so she can get on with feeding these hungry kids.    

Today I learned two things. 1. I don’t trust that fence. 2. I can ‘toddle’ faster than I thought! LOL
